Brian Harman early life
Brian Harman is a golfer that was born in Athens, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia played on their golf team, and was an assistant coach for three years.
Brian Harman had had quite the international career before he even turned pro! Born to two former NCAA athletes who later became high school coaches at North Oconee High School, Brian first grew up playing sports with his family members and friends all around town while living just outside Atlanta’s Perimeter Highway (I-285).
His dad Terry coached him when it came time for organized league play. By age 5 or 6, you could find young Brian attending practices every day after finishing homework from elementary school classwork then spending hours practising again until dinner rolled around – a ritual that would continue for years.
In 2006, Harman won the Georgia Junior Amateur tournament and was chosen as one of three players to represent the United States at the 2007 World Cup in Argentina. He also competed on Team USA’s 2008 U18 team, where he helped win gold medal honours, but this time with his brother Jordan accompanying him.

Brian Harman family, height and weight
His parents are Terry and Cindy, who both played college golf at the University of Georgia. Brian has one sibling named Jordan, who also competes in professional golf tournaments like him – but his brother only began playing professionally in 2006 when he was 16 years old. Jordan is five years older than Brian.
Harman’s father was the head coach of North Oconee High School for many years before becoming a golf professional, and he always had his son in tow to compete with him on the range, at tournaments or out practising; so naturally, when it came time for high school practice, all three Harmans would play together as much as possible – leading to them winning four state titles while attending North Oconee from 2003-2007.
Brian Harman has an estimated height and weight of six feet, one inch tall (185 cm), and 185 pounds heavy (84 kg). His hobbies include playing guitar, fishing, hunting, and reading about history, among other things like football or basketball.
