Cesar Millan Net Worth
Cesar Millan is a Mexican-American dog trainer, author and TV personality who has amassed $25 million dollars as his net worth. He’s best known for the popular series “Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan”.
César Felipe Millán Favela, also known as the dog boy, was born in rural Culiacán on August 27th. His childhood consisted of working with and near animals from a young age. He grew up surrounded by pigs his grandfather rented out to other farmers for breeding purposes; he would clean their pens and feed them fresh produce daily after school. At 18 years old when Cesar’s mother died tragically during childbirth due to complications relating to her diabetes diagnosis, it became apparent that there were some things one could not control like disease or death which led him into the United States illegally at 21-years-old looking for work opportunities outside of farm life back home where no cars existed only horses.
Millan’s career in the pet industry started when he landed his first job at a dog grooming store. Eventually, Millan opened up his own school to teach dogs how to behave and be better companions for their owners. One of Millan’s earliest clients was actress Jada Pinkett Smith who helped him get an English tutor so that he could start teaching on TV- or rather “Dog Psychology Center”
Millán’s lifelong pursuit as a professional animal trainer began with work experience at one of London’s largest dog groomers where they treated thousands each month from around Europe, Australia and North America. When living in Los Angeles while working as a driver for luxury car companies like Mercedes Benz & Maybach Motor Car Company (BMW) Millán started a private dog grooming and training business.
Cesar Millan was confident in his abilities to rehabilitate dogs and dog owners. After the Los Angeles Times ran a profile on him, he caught the attention of producers at MPH Entertainment who began working with him developing a pilot for reality television series that would follow around as he worked on rehabilitating canines. The National Geographic Channel debuted “Dog Whisperer” starring Cesar Millian in September 2004; later moving it to Nat Geo WILD channel where it became their top-rated show ever!
Cesar Millan, the “Dog Whisperer” and star of National Geographic Wild’s hit reality show, is also a dog trainer. He has been training dogs for over 20 years in both North America and Europe. One of his most famous clients was Justin Bieber who he trained with during an episode on Nat Geo WILD to teach him how to train his own puppy named Mally Maloo! His other celebrity clientele includes Oprah Winfrey (who documented her decision between two puppies via Twitter), Pamela Anderson & Rob Kardashian (which Cesar helped when they were going through marital troubles) as well as rapper Snoop Dogg whose New Year’s Eve party was crashed by 18 personal bodyguards because guests feared that miller would be Snoop Doggs’s target after the rapper made a series of disparaging remarks about Millan.
In addition to his TV projects and appearances, Millan has expanded into many other ventures. Building off the popularity he had gained through “National Geographic”, in 2009, he launched his own magazine: Cesar’s Way. He served as Editorial Director for the publication which covered topics on relationships between dogs and humans along with advice from; The last issue of this magazine was published in 2014 when it came time to end its print run so that a new digital version could be created.
