Her parents divorced when she was 7 or 8 years old; her mother raised Daniele mostly in Paris while John took care of his new family that he had with another woman. She developed an interest in writing as a child and began to write plays at age 10 which were performed by friends from school in their backyards during the summer holidays.

Career

Danielle Steel is a prolific author who got her start as an aspiring writer in New York. She wrote for Supergirls and Grey Advertising before achieving success with ‘Going Home, which was released three years after the birth of her first daughter. After that, she continued writing novels but none were selected until 10 years later when one of them became a bestseller: ‘Jewels’.

Danielle Steel married young and soon became a mother while living in New York City where she took up work at both public relations agencies like “Super Girls” to get by financially as well as balance life with raising children alongside working on creative tasks like copywriting or some other form content creation among many others while continuing to write fiction novels without any luck from publishing companies.

Kate Harper always felt the need to label her novels as “romances” but in 1979 she was able to branch out and write a novel that delved into other aspects of life. Her first, Season of Passion follows Kate’s romance with Tom over five years while also exploring how their relationship affects everyone around them. As Steel’s popularity grew she wrote more about people following society stereotypes and not being themselves which led some fans away from reading her books altogether; however, many others were still captivated by what they saw on television screens during the early days when TV adaptations started airing for several works including Now And Forever (1981), Crossings (1987) Fine Things(1990), Daddy (1993).

In 1982, Danielle Steel had her first novel published. In the decades since then, she has written over 83 novels and sold more than a billion copies worldwide. As of 2021, with an estimated net worth of around $385 million dollars – that’s equivalent to about 395 thousand iPhones XS Maxes – it seems like this prolific author will have no end in sight for writing!
