David Spade was born on July 22nd, 1964 in Birmingham Michigan. He grew up with his family and two brothers before he relocated to Scottsdale Arizona where he attended Saguaro High School as well as Scottsdale Community College for a degree in business studies. In 1986 David graduated from ASU and performed stand-up comedy at their University Comedy Show multiple times during college.

When David Spade joined the Saturday Night Live cast in 1990, he was still a writer for this show. But as time went on, his career took off and thanks to some of his work with Chris Farley they were able to star in two comedies together: “Tommy Boy” (1995) and “Black Sheep” (1996).
